Our Chapter of MOPS is beginning its tenth year of ministry at First Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA. Click here for driving directions. We typically meet on the first and third Thursdays each month of the school year, September through May, from 9.30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
The MOPS International fee is $23.95 per year and our meeting fees are $25 per semester (Fall and Spring). This helps cover the costs for childcare and meeting expenses, crafts, etc. We are able to keep fees low thanks to our fall and spring consignment sales.
A typical MOPS meeting begins with melt-in-your-mouth homemade breakfast foods and beverages. We mingle and stuff our faces! It's a great time to get to know mothers just like you! Then, one of our wise mentors, a longtime mother with loads of experience, leads us in a time of inspiration, devotion, and motivation. You will feel refreshed and rejuvenated!
We have lots of prizes and giveaways, too! All you have to do is show up for the meetings and your' re bound to end up with something special!
Our special speakers conclude the first half of our meeting. Topics have been thoughtfully chosen to enhance knowledge in areas that are most important to moms. In our discussion groups, we share ideas and reflect on the day's topics. In craft time you'll feel like a kid again. From making soap or lanterns or special holiday items; you're sure to enjoy being crafty!
